Trainings – For those who desire to learn the Art of Healing.

The heart of Reiki is subtle energy. Reiki training lays a foundation for the use and understanding of energy work. Reiki trainings are offered each month. Class size is limited to one or two students. Class times will be arranged between the students and the teacher. There are three levels of Reiki Training.

First Degree – 10-hour class, $110.00. The only prerequisite for First Degree Reiki training is an interest in self-healing.

The beginning student will first learn the principles and philosophies of Reiki. The student will then master the Reiki hand positions and will explore the Reiki treatment methods. By the end of this class,
the student will know how to give a complete treatment to herself and to others; however, while the first degree Reiki practitioner will be able to give a treatment to others, the emphasis of first degree
Reiki is on self care and self healing.

Second Degree – 6-hour class, $220.00. The student must have completed First Degree before taking Second Degree Reiki.

The student of second degree Reiki will be shown additional Reiki hand positions. The student will then learn the skills needed in healing mental and emotional imbalances, and will also master the
ability of distance (or absentee) healing. Three symbols are taught in second degree Reiki. These symbols will further deepen the healing ability of a Reiki treatment, and will also greatly aid the student in her quest of self healing.

Third Degree – 3-hour class, $100.00. The student must have completed First and Second Degree Reiki before taking Third Degree Reiki. This class is for those students who wish additional healing skills, but who are not called to teach Reiki.

In this class, the student will learn to use the Master Symbol. This powerful symbol will assist the student with her own personal growth and assist helping to heal others.

Reiki Master – Is a mentored class, $500.00. Most students complete the training in a year. The student must have completed First and Second Degree Reiki before taking Reiki Master training. This advanced degree is for those who are called to teach Reiki.

In this class, the student will learn to use the Master Symbol. This powerful symbol will assist the student with her own personal growth and assist helping to heal others. Additionally, the master student will learn how to give healing attunements. And finally, the master student will learn how to initiate others into the Reiki system of healing.

Treatments – A Reiki treatment or session may be scheduled for either 60 or 90 minutes and costs $50.00 or $75.00. Reiki treatments may be given in conjunction with western medicine or other healing modalities. Treatments are usually experienced as relaxing, meditative and peaceful. Sometimes buried emotions come to the surface for healing. After a Reiki treatment, most people experience a greater sense of well-being and a greater connection to the divine within.

Healing Attunement – The cost of a healing attunement is included in the price of a Reiki treatment. The attunement takes only a few minutes. A healing attunement prior to a Reiki treatment or massage session can be effective in turning around physical and emotional imbalances. Healing attunements can also assist you with removing negative energy and thoughts, which will help you to empower your goals. While the client sits quietly, the Reiki practitioner performs a sequence of movements to attune the body to a higher frequency of energy. In this state the body is more receptive to healing and change.

What is Reiki?

Translated from Japanese, Reiki means “universal life energy.” It is a sacred and powerful system of natural healing. It can aid in the recovery from illness or
injury, from a simple bruise to more complex issues like multiple sclerosis. When used daily, Reiki nourishes the body, helping to keep the body in harmony with
its natural rhythms.

Throughout time, there have always been healing traditions that used subtle energy. Reiki
is an energy practice formed from those ancient healing
traditions.

Dr. Mikao Usui (8/15/1865 –
3/9/1926) was a Christian minister and president of a small Christian university in
Japan. During seven years of studying ancient texts, Dr. Usui rediscovered symbols
used for healing. However, he was unsure how to use the symbols. After a 21-day meditation, the method was revealed to him, and the Reiki system of healing was formed. Reiki is now practiced and taught throughout the world.

How Reiki works – Sometimes the flow of Ki within the body can become restricted by illness, emotion, or injury. Reiki energy can change these restrictions, restoring balance and wholeness to the body, mind and spirit. The Reiki practitioner’s hands are gently placed on the body in various positions that correspond to the major organs, endocrine system and the chakras, and then the practitioner channels universal life energy through her hands to the client. Reiki energy intrinsically flows to where it is needed in the body, and as Reiki flows through the channels and meridians of the body, the energy vibration in the affected areas is raised, thus clearing the restricted pathways and restoring the body, mind and spirit to a whole and harmonious state.
