What is Reiki?
This Healing Art is considered Complementary Alternative Medicine
(CAM Therapy) which focuses on energy medicine or healing touch. The term “Reiki” refers to the Universal (Rei) Life force or Energy (Ki). This Universal energy can be used to bring balance to one’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. Reiki is known to ignite the body’s natural healing abilities.

According to the International Reiki Association, Columbia Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH has held the longest clinical trial which is still operating today. Here more than 8,000 surgical patients have received Reiki. Research results conclude with Reiki; surgical clients require less pain medication and Anesthesia.
